Greetings to our ever steadfast and informed listening audience.  Check out the latest episode of the sonic double feature show adroitly entitled, The Grindhouse-airing this Saturday at 6pm sharp.  For the first act, you can listen to The Comic Shoppe featuring Capt. Kirk, Dburt and Daryll B.  The topics to be microscopically analyzed and placed into a centrifuge are: more on the (mid season) return of  Almost Human, Dracula and SHIELD; Dburt reviews Boom Studios' latest mob inspired vampire comic, Day Men; still more Batman vs Superman news (i.e. Gal Gadot gets Henry Cavill's trainer and is Wonder Woman going to be a misplaced Kryptonian?); according to a recent ComicBookmovie.com op-ed piece, race does and does not matter in comic book films; and speaking of diversity concerns, Chew's Rob Guillory had a few words to say on the subject at the Image Expo and lastly, at the same expo, Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman had some interesting things to say about Marvel Comics' business acumen (or lack thereof).  Whew!  Call live at 646-915-9620.

And now for the coup de grace, check out Afronerd Radio broadcasting at 7pm.  Listen to Capt. Kirk and Dburt unravel the following issues: an Omaha, NE toddler causes a stir in a video that was posted by a police union detailing what has been dubbed as a "thug cycle"; noted poet/activist, Amiri Baraka passes; As Gov. Chris Christie's waistline decreases his "Bridge-gate" scandal increases; noted astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson predicts that the universe is heading toward oblivion and lastly, Yale law professor/author, Amy Chua returns with a new and controversial book (The Triple Package) highlighting ethnic groups she deems to be superior.
