Bon jour, crumpets and cornbread to our ever expanding and tenacious listening audience.  Because we're in the midst of the Labor Day weekend and summer is coming to close, we decided to do something different.  Based on popular demand, this particular episode (Saturday starting at 6pm) will be a LONG FORM 2 hour pop culture/sci-fi/political/urban alternative free for all broadcast entitled, The Grindhouse Remix.  Your "Podcast Enterprise" crew will just wax about various topics essentially merging The Comic Shoppe and Afronerd Radio shows without a break!  Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620!  The topics to be discussed are:  Superhero casting announcements (i.e.Ben Affleck as Batman; Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon; Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor and James Spader as Ultron), last weekends Afropunk festival from the planet Brooklyn; a Black Superhero web series, CV Nation enters its second season; Kyle Baker's "meta messages, a NY Post piece interviewed local comic shop owners; regarding bad customer habits and lastly, we will continue last Wednesday's Afronerd Radio discussion (Miley cyrus at MTV Awards, Lemon vs Simmons, Trayvon martin Ebony cover) in typical "round 2" fashion.  Remember the fun starts at 6pm sharp!
