No Black Dr. Who, Huh? & More!-The Grindhouse Starts @6pm!

Welcome back to the Grindhouse, people!  Tune in this Saturday, starting at 6pm as we give you back to back airings of The Comic Shoppe and Afronerd Radio "batting relief" at 7pm.  First at bat (enough with the baseball references!) is The Comic Shoppe featuring Daryll B, Captain Kirk and Dburt discussing the latest in the world of pulp and pop entertainment. The Shoppe's topics this week are:  as the title posting infers, what happened to the campaigns for a minority based Dr. Who?  We know that the regeneration process is complete and a new actor has been chosen but still...; picking up the pieces from previous shows-the team waxes on the lack of minority representation in video games (DLCs!!); Disney's D23 revealed a new Marvel animated project, Big Hero 6; the financial fighting off camera during Expendables 3 (and is Mr. Snipes on board?) and our thoughts on Matt Damon's Elysium.  Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620.
