Through UN Resolution, it is illegal to sell or provide weapons to Somalia. However, the Israelis have been caught selling weapons to Somalia.

The U.N. and United States Department of State are slowly reversing their belligerent and misguided policy on the Government of Eritrea. U.N.'s change of heart is evident in today's comment by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who praised Eritrea as working for peace in the region.
