There are times as you start your locks and they refuse to lock completely or when they all become fluffy and wonder if it’s all worth it; and I say to you, It IS. I have gone through it and as much as it was irritating then, atleast I learnt a couple of things from it. If you haven’t read my posts, I would summarize my main message 1. If you want others to respect your reason for being locked, then also respect their reason for not being locked 2. Work on your self confidence and esteem, getting locks will not solve those problems 3. Accept everyone for who they are, not what you expect them to be 4. No race oriented comments, if you got locks or are interested in getting them or are just curious about them; you are welcome to my blog ask questions and I’ll tell you what I know. 5. What is IN your head matters more than what is On it. This is because in Europe and America this is considered serious crime and often resulting in prison terms. Therefore people do not come forward. MY EXPERIENCE: Physical violence: Beatings for the silliest reasons or no reasons at all I got a slap and kick one week after giving birth with twins and cesarean section Emotional abuse: Often told you're no good etc. Asking to pay for almost everything in the home with my small wages. I SURVIVED AND ACHIEVED SUCCESS BY PERSEVERING I enrolled into college which gave me confidence to know I was not what he thought I was I achieved a diploma in Adult Nursing and registered as a nurse in the UK I know have a degree in Public Health and also own a magazine (Salone Style Magazine) I currently work as a Clinical Research Nurse which I am very happy in.
