The recently concluded Rio Plus 20 conference  was attended by over 40, 000 people from all over the world. The attendees included World leaders, experts, activists and policy makers .Dr Cathey Falvo attended the Rio plus 20 meetings as a NGO delegate and  will be sharing her experiences about the conference and outcome document. 
 
 
 
 
SPECIAL GUEST: DR.:CATHEY FALVO Cathey Eisner Falvo, president of the International Society of Doctors for the Environment for 2011-2013
Cathey Eisner Falvo, president of the International Society of Doctors for the Environment for 2011-2013, is a physician who trained in pediatrics and preventive medicine/public health. She was the pediatrician for a neighborhood health center as well as professor and chair of public health and professor of pediatrics at New York Medical College School of Public Health before resigning in 2005. She has been associated with Physicians for Social Responsibility U.S.A. since 1983; has been on the Board of Directors and is its representative to the International Society of Doctors for the Environment as well as at the United Nations. She has worked in Nicaragua, Haiti and Vietnam both as a pediatrician and public health expert at various times since 1985 and made working trips to Albania, Algeria, Argentina and Columbia.
