Riots Break Out in Oakland as more demo's planned in Post Racial America!

Black former San Francisco Mayor and California Assembly Speaker Willie Brown, is urging African Americans around the country to weigh in -- and get ready to protest -- the Democratic block of the Burris appointment. Brown wrote in The Chronicle that Burris was actually more qualified for the Illinois U.S. Senate seat than Barack Obama was when he took that office. And Monday, he signaled that the African American community would mount loud protests of Burris' treatment by Dem leaders if they continued to block him. Meanwhile, Several hours of violence erupted Wednesday night as demonstrators at "smashed storefronts and cars, set several cars ablaze and blocked streets in downtown Oakland." The riot started after a protest was held at the Frutivale BART station, voicing anger at the New Year's Day shooting death of Oscar Grant. The "roving mob" went to town, indiscriminately going on a rampage throughout downtown Oakland. Is this the new Post racial America.
