Shorty after our fine president, Barack Hussein Obama, was sworn into office, he issued a challenge to the scientific community. People outside of the Department of Energy were solicited for ideas concerning green energy. Out of tens of thousands of submitted proposals, my proposal was one of about two dozen to be seriously evaluated. The aforementioned proposals were kept classified for about nine months, then by law, they were made open for evaluation to the public ( university researchers, lay people, the Army Corp of Engineers, etc. ). The apparatus I designed would use a combination of solar, wind, tidal, and hydrogen sockets to supply " free energy " to potential millions of people living along America's coastal regions. However, my proposal is a job killer. Nonetheless, wouldn't the benefits of lessining our dependence upon fossil fuel be a good thing ? Every time an American buys a gallon of gas, he / she funds the terrorism we are supposed to be fighting against. Additionally, have my efforts to place a non-Ivy-League black face on an all-time great invention been done in vain ? Will the whites who evaluated my work eventually disperse the credit to white scientists ? As time progresses forward, this seems to be the case.
