Personal success and teamwork don't have to be exclusive of each other. Teams are made up of individuals. A leader is an integral part of the team, but leaders are also individuals. Each player has a specific responsibility- as an individual- to live up to his or her obligation to the team, whether it's a sports team,a corporate team, or even your family. Everyone on the team has the same goal- to get the ball over the goal line. But if you really want to succeed, you need to step forward. You need to take ownership of your work, your mission, your project, or your game.
