In this episode, we will explore how the Wall Street Mega-banks are still employing the tactic of "robo-signing" documents in foreclosure lawsuits in efforts to evict homeowners. They are still doing it notwithstanding the $26 billion dollar settlement with the U.S. government and state AG's a couple of months ago. It appears that the settlement was merely a slap on the wrist and it is now business as usual.
Do not despair! If your lender is attempting to present "robo-signed" Assignment of Mortgages and other evidence in foreclosure proceedings, that is good news for you. It is good news because all you would have to do is follow along the steps in the Foreclosure Dispute Resolution eTraining Manual and uncover the affirmative defenses therein. You will know how to respond to any foreclosure suit and how to uncover the fraudulent and robo-signed Assignment of Mortgage, and possibly keep your home with clear title.
