Joe Guzzardi has written editorial columns -- mostly about immigration and related social issues -- since 1986. He is the National Media Director and Senior Writing Fellow for Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS); his columns have frequently been syndicated in other U.S. newspapers and websites. A native Californian, Guzzardi is retired from the Lodi (CA) Unified School District, where, for 25 years, he taught English as a second language to immigrants from all over the world. In 2003, he was a candidate for California governor.

Marc Harrold is an attorney, legal and political analyst and author. He is currently a partner in DC-Metro based Ferreyra & Harrold, PLLC, a full-service immigration law firm with partner Diego Ferreyra. Prior to launching his Firm, Marc was an Assistant Chief Counsel (prosecutor) with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) a component of the Department of Homeland Security. During his time with the ICE, Marc also served at the Agency's DC headquarters as an Associate Legal Advisor providing legal counsel on several high-profile projects and programs and serving as one of the Agency's Fourth Amendment experts
