Gospel and inspirational recording artist Shanon M. Harris resides in Chicago, Illinois, the home of many gospel greats. It is her mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through song wherever God leads.
Shanon grew up admiring and listening to many gospel legends that made an impact in her life and influence her musical style, such as ‘The Clark Sisters, Yolanda Adams, and TheWinans' just to name a few. Her passion for music started at a young age. Singing in church and school choirs assisted in developing the voice you hear today. God has given her the strength and determination to do His will and He is her motivation. "My Father is amazing and I know there's nothing He can't do", says Shanon. His praises will continually come out of my mouth”.
This versatile contemporary Gospel singer and songwriter comes from a long line of Gospel singers. Both her Mother and Grandmother sang in Church and Shanon followed in their footsteps, adding a contemporary flavor all her own. Shanon’s signature sound is all over her current single “Worth It”.
Signed to Ashro Records, Shanon’s debut project “Faith First” features some of Chicago’s finest in producers and composers bringing forth a unique sound that will captivate the listeners.
