The youngest of 10 children, Marlo Moore began singing at the ripe age of 5 yrs old in her hometown of Kansas City, Mo. She is known for raising the bar of excellence and expectation in the music industry with Praise and Worship and ushering in the spirit of the Lord. Marlo has also experienced success as an R&B artist, previously signed under Columbia Records and Atlantic Records. Never losing sight of God's purpose for her life, Marlo re-connected with the gospel industry and was featured on "The Untold Story" and "Waiting On God" cds with Bishop Dreyfus C. Smith and the Wings Of Faith Mass Choir. The recent winner of the 2008 YGEA for Best Female Vocalist of the year. Nominee for the 2008 Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards for Best Female Vocalist of the Year. Nominee for the 2007 Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards for three categories: Best Song of the year: Nations and Holy Best Female Vocalist of the year. Performed on the stage with Vickie Winans, Shirley Caesar, John P. Kee and Beverly Crawford. Performed with Crystal Waters, Black Girl, 95 South, Dis and Dat, Sparky D. Sang background for Marvin Sapp, Dorothy Norwood, LaShun Pace, Dottie Peoples. Featured as an extra in the movie "The Gospel." Former background vocalist for Kevin Lemons and Shalunda Harris. Performed on the Don Imus Morning show, Carlton Pearson and the AZUZA Crusade, Sang the National Anthem for Georgia Tech University, Inauguration of Mayor Shirley Franklin (Atlanta), Atlanta Hawks, PUSH with Rev. Jesse Jackson, Performed for the Former Heavyweight Champion of the World, Evander Holyfield, WAGA-TV, Fox 5. Marlo takes great pride in her multiple roles as a wife, mother, humble servant and singer of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
