Eclectic in style, electric in energy...it's time for Eklectricity! Earl Bynum has reached national & international exposure with thirteen world tours including the countries of Denmark, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Japan. Virginia history was made when Bynum along with his group As We Are performed for Governor Tim Kaine’s Inaugural Ball Concert. In addition to sharing the platform with a host of gospel artists and being musical director of Virginia Mass Choir, Earl has performed along with Michael McDonald, Steely Dan and the Beach Boys. Bynum’s CD “My Change Has Come” featuring the hit single “Open My Heart” is now available nationwide and received two Stellar Music Award 1st round nominations. Bynum has aired on the Word Network several times by way of performances at the Bobby Jones International Music Retreat. Additionally, Bynum will air on BET’s new season of Bobby Jones Gospel. Bynum serves as 1st Vice President for the state of Virginia Radio Announcers Guild with 12 other affiliates across the country. Bynum was awarded National Announcer of the Year 2008/2009 during the Gospel Announcers Guild 41st Annual Showcase and Awards. Bynum is the producer and host of radio show “On Stage With Earl Bynum” that can be heard Saturday mornings on Rejoice 100.9 FM WFMI as well as the internet at: www.rejoice1009.com. Bynum desires to give back to the community and service the youth of the Hampton Roads area by encouraging them to discover and develop their talents. This led to the start of EBAWA Performing Arts & Development Center. EBAWA focuses on educating the youth in basic life skills such as the elements of resume writing, proper grooming and job interview preparation.
