Wayne is a retired U.S.Air Force nuclear security inspector, so why not after a job like that start writing poetry? Wayne, once he had obtained his senior he did just that. With fifteen paperback books of illustrated, rhyming poetry already published, he has also drawn cartoons for five Texas newspapers and been published in Readers Digest and the Satruday Evening Post. Over a thousand of Wayne’s poems and illustrations can be found on his web site, www.familypoet.com, which has over 245,000 visits, which makes him possiblythe most read, unknown poet in America.
