Celine Dion wrote the foreword, and Eva Longoria (UnbeliEVAble Productions) has optioned the book for a feature film. When published in Canada in 2006, "Sixtyfive Roses" was chosen by the Globe and Mail as one of the Best 100 Books of that year.
