Tina Field Howe spent her childhood in Waverly, NY, a quiet little village close to the northern border of Pennsylvania. There was lots of countryside where she grew up, and she spent a lot of time in the fields and woods near her house, examining creatures, climbing trees, racing along well-worn paths, and sometimes helping her mom, dad and grandmother with the gardening. Nature has always been a part of her life. So it is no surprise that natural objects and organic flow finds its way into much of her creative work. Listen as she talks about her work and her writing
