You shall have power, strength and might when you are in the battle. This is a promise from the Holy Spirit.We have all experienced the feeling of being drained, depleted, and just plain old whipped when we have encountered an attack on are spirits, our emotions, our body. The devil has so many entry points into our lives that it is a wonder that we can continue to go on.It would be much more difficult if there was no one to help, no weapons to do battle with, no armour to protect us. But oh there is a one. He is the Holy Spirit. He is with you right now.Gen: 2:7 AMP says, Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathe into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life and man became a living being. That was and is the Holy Spirit.Jesus promises us power in the midst of a battle through that of the Holy SpiritActs 1:8 Amp: But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Sumeria and to the ends of (the very bounds) of the earth. It is reassuring to know that when I get up in the morning and as I go throughout my day and into the night that I have a constant companion that being the Holy Spirit.John 14:16 AMP;And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter(Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever.The Holy spirit is your protection. There is nothing that you will encounter that The Holy Spirit will not protect you from.Duet 32:11-12 As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, He spread abroad His wings and He took them, He bore them on His pinions. 12: So the Lord alone led him; there was no foreign god with Him. Lastly what Gods wants for us to remember is, that when we come up against it ( I know that may feel like a daily occurrence). God wants us to remember who we are in Him and whose we are. You know I say to myself everyday who I am. I look in the mirror and I say my entire name( Gwendolyn Denise Hatten- Dillions). I do that as a reminder of the power that I process because God lives in me. Try saying this yourself right now. Look in a mirror and start saying this on a daily basis. You will start to come alive because of this one act of affirmation. God is power and you are powerful because of Him. He wants us to remember His promises to us. God has not given us a spirit of fear. he has given us power and might. Through His word and what I like to call "God Power" that is your faith, you can be victorious in the battle set before you. The word of God says in Psalm 18:37- 40AMP: I pursued my enemies and overtook them; neither did I turn again till they were consumed. 38: I smote them so that they were not able to rise;they fell wounded at my feet. 39: For you have girded me with strength for the battle; you have subdued under me and caused to bow down those who rose up against me. 40:You have also made my enemies turn there backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me. In closing Jesus declares and bequeaths to us Peace, but only when we come into relationship which requires our submission and obedience to Him. In John 14:24,26 AMP: Anyone who does not [really] love Me does not observe and obey My teaching, And the teaching which you hear and heed is not Mine, but [comes] from the Father Who sent Me. 26: But the Comforter(Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name[ In place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything that I have told you.This is the best part, Check it out:John 14:27AMP: Peace I leave with you; My own peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled].That is awesome that God would not just give us a measure of peace, but He gives us His peace. You can't beat the gifts that God gives. There is nothing better than God giving to us because we are His Children. As a parent we desire to give the best to our children, so too does God in the same manner. the difference is that God's gifts are not like that of the world. His gifts ( His son Jesus dying on the cross) and His peace are the best of the best. Peace, what a wonderful gift to have. It is yours all you need do is ask Him for it.I want you to expierience Pure Greatness, Without Measure. This is my prayer for you.
