Charles Lollar is the Conservative candidate for Congress in Maryland's 5th Congressional District, running against the House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer. Lollar is a professional businessman, working as General Manager for Cintas, one of Fortune magazine's Most Admired Companies. He is also a Major in the Marine Corps Reserves; after a military career that saw him serving in active duty in Kosovo and earning such prestigious medals and decorations as the Kosovo Campaign Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Combat Action Ribbon, and Joint Meritorious Unit Award. He also serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the DC Chamber of Commerce. He also has served as the Chairman of the Charles County Republican Central Committee and the Chairman of the Maryland GOP Taxpayers Commission where he fought to protect the interests of Maryland taxpayers. Academicially, he earned an AA degree from Emory University, a Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science from Kennesaw University and an MBA from Regent University. Lollar lives in Charles County, Maryland with his wife Rose and his four daughters.
