It was reported on August 17, 2010 that Nationwide, only 47% of our Black Males graduate for high school on time.

That is a sin and a shame as far as I see it and we have done this to ourselves.

There is no one to blame for this other than Black leadership that continues to allow the government and others put us last!  They only pop their heads up when a Black tragedy occurs or they are caught doing something.

There no one to blame for this other than Black celebrities that boast ignorance over education.

There is no one to blame for this other than Black mothers who put their MAN before their son.

There is no one to blame for this other than Black men, who continuously walk out on there sons.

100% of the Black population of my home graduated from high school, single mother of three children, two boys! If there is a will, there is a way!

The AAASM has always had the solution.

A Communities of Hope Project

Communities of Hope is a community economic development program that provides an adaptable, innovative approach to the reduction of poverty in low and moderate-income communities. It is our goal to see Communities of Hope as the Nations leading exemplary practices program in the elimination of poverty across America. 90% of all single parent homes headed by women live in poverty so it is very important that we do our best to improve low income communities.

In partnership with S F Johnson Consulting (www.sfjohnsonconsulting.com) we have developed a Nationwide On-line Afterschool Program for children grades K through 12.  The format will take place in an on line conferencing setting where each participate will be required to have access to the internet and either Voice Over IP, a landline phone or cell phone.  We will also provide Skype to Skype communication.
