This week on Business Talk, it is our pleasure to feature Sharon Shull, RN, director of Hospice at the Holzer Health Systems in Gallipolis, Ohio on Wednesday November 6, 2013 at 1:00 in the afternoon on our Internet Radio and Educational Access TV Program.

As Director of the Hospice program, she oversees Camp Beaver, a bereavement camp for children.  This program, going on the fifth year, is a summer camp held each year for children ages 6 through 18.  Sharon will discuss:

  1. Camp Beaver – A Bereavement Camp for Children
  2. A 2-Day Summer Camp
  3. Assisting 30 Children with 25 Volunteers Each Year
  4. Community Donations and Grant Funded

Camp Beaver provides an environment where children are able to come together with other individuals who have experienced a loss in their life. It gives them a place where they are free to let their feelings out, in a way that they want to. The fun activities that are held during the camp generate thoughts and enhance discussion about what they are feeling in a very non-threatening pattern.
