ARE WOMEN EXEMPT FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF PROVOKING MEN TO VIOLENCE?

  • Every 9 seconds in the US a woman is assaulted or beaten.
  • Around the world, at least one in every three women has been beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused during her lifetime. Most often, the abuser is a member of her own family.
  • Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women—more than car accidents, muggings, and rapes combined.

Domestic violence is the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior perpetrated by an intimate partner against another. It is an epidemic affecting individuals in every community, regardless of age, economic status, race, religion, nationality or educational background.

Some MAY disagree, but Ray Rice & Janay both need intensive counseling for anger management.  Rice did not have to lose his job! The video tape released by TMZ was not news!  Prior to that video the NFL, Roger Goodell, fans, and the world of viewers (who care) knew that there had been a domestic violence altercation in that elevator!  In addition to the video confirming what we already knew (Ray knocked Janay out!), it also revealed that she was the aggressor!  Janay was attacking Ray!  We sympathize with her because she is a woman; they both need counseling!  Should women be given passes for violent or aggressive behaviors with the potential to cause bodily harm or a fatal tragedy to themselves?  SOME MEN HIT BACK! ARE THEY WRONG?
