Please join me every Thursday at 12:00 Noon (EST) at www.blogtalkradio.com/marymoon and step out into your Last Miracle Mile! Listen, as I read to you from The Last Miracle Mile and share with you what I’ve learned about the trauma of victimization. I know firsthand about healing from the trauma of being victimized, and it’s my intent to teach others what I’ve learned so they can empower their lives. Mine is not your typical self-help book; it’s an inspiring hope filled story of healing, and forgiveness.

Run at Destruction contains a Reading Group Guide and is unique. It's the only book categorized in these two ways: True Crime and Sports/Running. Anne Rule, the best-selling true crime author of The Stranger Beside Me, Small Sacrifices, and Mortal Danger said Lynda's book is: "Wonderfully written. A must for true-crime readers." Sean Hartnett, correspondent for Track & Field News said: "Run at Destruction is riveting and compelling... the 2009 runner's read!" While Publisher's Weekly said: "this title... relies on the strong bond between author and victim for emotional weight; passages about their shared moments, and Drews's feelings of emptiness in the decades since, are remarkable." Lynda Drews, a Wisconsin native, recently gave the commencement speech at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, her college Alma mater. One lesson she shared with the graduates was: “to journal your life.” When Lynda, a marketing executive, made the decision to retire after her thirty-year career, she returned to an earlier passion. Run at Destruction is the outcome. Lynda and her husband, Jim, a retired guidance counselor and an accomplished runner, have two sons, Collin and Chris, and a golden retriever named Bailey. The family has lived in Green Bay since the mid-seventies and helped launch the local running movement. The city now hosts the nation’s fifth largest 10K, the Bellin Run. SILENT SCREAM THE LATEST NOVEL FROM RENOWNED BOUNTY HUNTER AND AUTHOR YVONNE MASON!
Yvonne Mason the author of the newly released true crime drama SILENT SCREAM is on Renee’s Book Talk 10/30/08.
Famed author Yvonne Mason will appear on the BlogTalkRadio show “Renée’s Book Talk” (http://blogtalkradio.com/yolandarenee) with host Yolanda Renée on Thursday October 30, 2008 8:00 PM Eastern. The exclusive interview will highlight Yvonne’s latest release “SILENT SCREAM.”
Callers are welcome to join the conversation during the show by calling (347) 215-9536. The live, Internet talk-radio show will stream from the host page at http://blogtalkradio.com/yolandarenee.
Yvonne is a licensed bounty hunter for the state of Georgia, a motivational speaker, Blog Talk Radio Host, and the Promotions Manager for Triad Productions. Her philosophy in Life is to Pay it Forward – “In this life we all have been helped by others to attain our dreams and goals. We cannot pay it back but what we can do is ‘pay it forward.”
Her book SILENT SCREAM is the true story of Gerard Schaefer the trusted police officer and the maniacal serial killer. The screams which have been silent for thirty four years are no longer silent. They now have a voice.
July 1972 Nancy Trotter and Pamela Sue Wells were taken to a remote area on South Hutchinson Island in Martin County tied, gagged, and hung. They were left to die. But they managed to escape. This escape led to an investigation of a crime that before 1972 had no name. Law enforcement was in uncharted waters.
Nancy Trotter and Pamela Wells were just two of the nine known and possibly as high as 34 unknown victims. They ranged from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Europe and N. Africa.
Silent Scream finally gives the victims a voice – Their screams are no longer silent and with that voice comes peace.
Yvonne has signed with Kerlak Publishing. Brilliant Insanity and Tangled Minds will be re-released through them. Join us on Thursday night for an interesting discussion with an interesting personality! Contact Yvonne at: www.myspace.com/authorsdream57 www.myspace.com/yvonnemason
