Please join me every Thursday at 12:00 Noon (EST) at www.blogtalkradio.com/marymoon and step out into your Last Miracle Mile! Listen, as I read to you from The Last Miracle Mile and share with you what I’ve learned about the trauma of victimization. I know firsthand about healing from the trauma of being victimized, and it’s my intent to teach others what I’ve learned so they can empower their lives. Mine is not your typical self-help book; it’s an inspiring hope filled story of healing, and forgiveness.

Run at Destruction contains a Reading Group Guide and is unique. It's the only book categorized in these two ways: True Crime and Sports/Running. Anne Rule, the best-selling true crime author of The Stranger Beside Me, Small Sacrifices, and Mortal Danger said Lynda's book is: "Wonderfully written. A must for true-crime readers." Sean Hartnett, correspondent for Track & Field News said: "Run at Destruction is riveting and compelling... the 2009 runner's read!" While Publisher's Weekly said: "this title... relies on the strong bond between author and victim for emotional weight; passages about their shared moments, and Drews's feelings of emptiness in the decades since, are remarkable." Lynda Drews, a Wisconsin native, recently gave the commencement speech at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, her college Alma mater. One lesson she shared with the graduates was: “to journal your life.” When Lynda, a marketing executive, made the decision to retire after her thirty-year career, she returned to an earlier passion. Run at Destruction is the outcome. Lynda and her husband, Jim, a retired guidance counselor and an accomplished runner, have two sons, Collin and Chris, and a golden retriever named Bailey. The family has lived in Green Bay since the mid-seventies and helped launch the local running movement. The city now hosts the nation’s fifth largest 10K, the Bellin Run. RENÉE’S BOOK TALK with Sue Lange, science fiction author of We, Robots
As author of Murder, Madness & Love a suspenseful who-done-it. Renée began a Blog Talk Radio Show in an effort to give other authors of fiction a voice in the world of radio. Getting an interview on regular radio shows for fiction writers is almost impossible, as most radio show hosts want an expert in the seat when asking their questions. So if you’ve written a book on how to make Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, you are the expert and the next guest on radio shows to highlight your new book. Therefore, Renée’s Book Talk gives the same opportunity for fiction authors to speak on their latest projects.
Science Fiction is the genre for Thursday night’s show, June 26, 2008 @ 11:00 PM EDT. Sue Lange, the author of We, Robots and Tritcheon Hash, is our guest. In her latest book We, Robots, the protagonist is a robot and in this novella robots are taught about pain. Does this make them more human?
Sue will be with us to discuss, Singularity, technology, our future, and she will explain exactly what a transhumanist is. So call in with your questions about the world that Sue has created.
Reviewer Andi Shechter calls Sue Lange’s work “one helluva job.” And goes on to say that “her creation uses speech that’s full of wit and colloquialisms to tell the story.”
Sue Lange has had her short fiction published in Adbusters, Challenging Destiny, Apex Digest of Science Fiction and Horror among other places. Visit her website at www.suelangetheauthor.com for more information and updates about her current appearances.
Join us for a fascinating discussion about science fiction, the future, and robots and to meet an interesting personality, Sue Lange.

On June 19, 2008 Carey Grimstead will be a guest on my show. Renee’s Book Talk. Carey is a poet and has penned a book of his poetry call “The Answers to Life Questions.” Carey is also a Sergeant in The Georgia National Guard and is currently deployed to Camp Bucca Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 278th MP Company.
Carey will be joining us during the show via the chat room. My show begins at 11:00 PM EDT and that will mean 6:00 AM in Iraq. Please join us as another guest reads Carey poetry and Carey answers questions from the listeners via the chat room.
Carey has been writing poetry for many years and one of the poems in his book was written in the 7th grade, the only Haiku in the book. Carey says he uses poetry as a means of letting go, as he tends to bottle things up – suppressing them and then expressing them through his words. It has proven to be a great outlet for that angst. Although now he claims that since he met a new love, he has a new influence for his writing. He says he has found the light in his writing, and gives his new love all the credit. This is your opportunity to support not only Carey but the troops serving in Iraq. Rick Gelinas founder of "Books for Boots will also be a guest on the show to talk about his charity. He is also an author and with his wife under the pen name Axel & Linda Hansen wrote and published "The Vengeance Trap." “BOOKS FOR BOOTS partners with selected authors and publishers. Authors donate their royalties and publishers donate books.
The money goes to VA hospitals where it is used for special needs and emergencies. This can, in some cases, include helping families with travel costs when they make a bedside visit.
The books go to vets in hospital.
This program, launched in June 2007, is part of a nonprofit 501(c) (3) corporation founded in 1984.” Check it out at http://booksforboots.org
Please join us on Thursday to show your support and check out “Books for Boots” a worthy cause!

My Blog Talk Radio Show will begin on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 11:00 PM EDT
I am hosting the show for all writers of all genres – published and not yet published but especially to give authors a marketing tool and especially those authors that are independently published. Please join me, and please if you would like to be a guest -- let me know.
Julia Press Simmons will be my first guest:
Guest Julia Press Simmons of Queen Midas Books will discuss her journey as an author and a publisher. Her book Strawberry Mansion -- A Philadelphia Story is in print now and ready for publication and debut on June 21, 2008. She will give insight, advice and a view from the inside, of not only writing a novel, but also publishing and marketing it as well. Join us -- Julia is a powerhouse -- both in personality and will!
On Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 11:00 PM -- EDT --- Alicia Winski will guest.
Guest Alicia Winiski will read and discuss her beautiful and seductive poetry as well as discuss her short story writing and the meaning behind the words. Join us and read a portion of your work -- it is about sharing, listening, learning, and publishing!
On Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11:00 PM -- EDT --- Carey Grimstead will guest and we are hoping all the way from IRAQ.
Guest Carey Grimstead wrote "The Answer to Life's Questions" and we will read some of his works -- He is in Iraq now, although he will try to dial in via the computer to chat online if he can’t call in. So if you are a poet, a soldier, or a patriot -- a writer or just a reader. Help me celebrate this soldier and his accomplishments. Call in and read your latest. Talk about your dreams, desires, love, and loss. Tell us what you consider poetry. Carey says he writes The Working Man’s Poetry. Join us and see if you agree!
Please call in -- your support for all these fine writers will go along way!
