Continental Congress 2009 project: The Pheasant Run Conference Center will host CC 2009 from November 9-22. A contract was signed on Monday, August 10, 2009. Pheasant Run is located 28 miles west of Chicago in the community of St. Charles, Illinois.     Today we have Craig Henderson president of the Avion Car Company (100mpgplus.com) to talk about his 100 MPG Prototype car he's entered in the X-Prize. So far, they have received tires from Goodyear tire and Canton Bandag Company. They are seeking additional corporate or personal sponsorship with the goal of winning the Progressive Automotive X-prize and making the Avion for production. Henderson thinks he has the car consumers want. It could be mass-produced for about $30,000. It's fun to drive. It has room for two passengers and a pretty good-sized trunk for luggage. It's lightweight at 1,500 pounds, thanks to a body made of aluminum and advanced composites. Henderson said it's designed and built more like an aircraft. It looks as aerodynamic as one. Plus, its doors swing up, giving the car a winged appearance, hence the name Avion, which in its various forms in Spanish and French means aircraft or flight. Its engine is built by Mercedes and it is fueled by diesel, but Henderson said it could be made to run with biodiesel, slightly refined vegetable oil or natural gas.

We the people will demand that the state governments serve notice, by means of a cooperative resolution, to the Federal government, that past usurpations or encroachments will not be tolerated. On March 26th, there will be a series of citizen-organized rallies across the country at the state capital. During the rally, citizens will get the opportunity to hear prominent speakers lay out a message to the Federal Government, that the people and the states will no longer stand by while our rights and states sovereignty are encroached upon. We the people will send a clear and concise message to Washington that we will stand united in the purpose of restoring the rights of the people and of the states.

    Today we have Oklahoma Republican State Senator Randy Brogdon (oksenate.gov) and OK Representative Charles Key (ok-safe.com) on to talk about the Oklahoma Tenth Amendment Resolutions - SJR 10 authored by Senator Brogdon, and HJR 1003, authored by Rep. Charles Key. Senator Brogdon, is the lead sponsor of the Oklahoma State Senate version of the Sovereignty Bill. "What we are trying to do is to get the U.S. Congress out of the State's business". "Congress is completely out of line spending trillions of dollars over the last 10 years... putting the nation into a debt crisis like we've never seen before," Brogdon said, arguing that the Obama stimulus plan is the last straw taxing State patience in the brewing Sovereignty dispute. Rep. Key states that "HJR 1003, presents fair notice to Washington that Oklahoma will not be intimidated into relinquishing legal authority, responsibility or jurisdiction over matters reserved to the state as declared Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution which reserves all powers not granted to the federal government to the state or the people". Also on the show was Ca. Senator Don Rogers and Walter Myers, the Executive Director of the Constitutionalists' Networking Center (thecnc.org).
