THANK YOU all for the support. As always, Victory Waters Speaks was entertaining. And folks, I went back to my comfort zone of relationships! This time we explored the notion of NO FINANCE NO ROMANCE!
There were emails read... Instant Messages read... Callers from CA, CO, GA and NYC with their own views. We heard from the men and the women.
I also pointed out a study done in 95 regarding 700 women and the question of "will you marry your current partner with whom you live with?" 1 out of 4 said NO. Hmmm... socioeconomic factors were cited in the report with 80% of Caucasians and Latinos expecting to marry their live-in partner of SAME socioeconomic and education status... BUT that number drops to 50% for the same race of women who live with men of lesser education and socioeconomic status.
In African American women.... 72% of SAME status expect to marry their live-ins. BUT that number drops to 42% for the same race of women who live with men of lesser education and socioeconomic status. Hmm... I wonder if the women tell their men this? hmmmm

We spoke on tracking finances; debt consolidation companies (to do or not to do); what new adults need to know about creditors (for the 18-21yr olds); what divorce may do to debt; etc..
I also added my FEELING on DEBT vs. INCOME ration and dating. (smile) Now, I made sure you knew that because FRIDAY...FRIDAY is the day we speak of STATE OF RELATIONSHIPS... we're going to talk a little bit about the current state of relationships focusing on money...and if that actually matters when you're out there INTERVIEWING for your mate-to-be.

Loved this first interactive show. The callers ranged from a smooth-talking FIXER to a credit consultant to political activists of sorts. GREAT! I promise to put more shows together to reflect this.

Hello all,
Thanks for tuning into my first show. I'm just getting use to this particular radio tool so give me a minute. However, it was fun and thanks for the IMs during the show.
