BG Michael Harrison, Director, Joint and Futures in the Army’s G8 will be discussing the Army’s Blue Ribbon Panel on the Army’s Ground Combat Vehicle.

Background: As part of the work developing Army Modernization goals in light of recent wartime experience, the Army is assessing the future operational environment, platform threats and needed ground combat vehicle platform characteristics and requirements options. To gain broader input into this assessment, the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army is hosting a Ground Combat Vehicle Blue Ribbon Panel Workshop to solicit broad, candid ideas, thoughts, and information from distinguished individuals from across the DoD, Academia and interested groups. Using six focus areas, individuals will participate in breakout sessions to present their thoughts and ideas to inform the development of the operational concept and requirements for a Ground Combat Vehicle.
