This weeks topic: "Stop Procrastinating: Master Power Productivity" with special guest, bestselling author, Nadine Hill (Una & Friends) Nadine and I will discus ways to avoid the pitfalls of ‘running just to stay still’ and learn how to master ‘power productivity’. This is a show not to be missed! How do you know when you are doing everything right and not ‘doing the right thing’? Have you ever filled your day with tasks that have needed to be done but got to the end of the day and not felt like you have moved forwards? It’s easy to confuse being busy with being productive sometimes, and we are all guilty to a degree, of procrastination – even if you don’t realise it! Nadine Hill, bestselling author and Virtual Assistant (VA) business owner, specializes in helping SMEs increase productivity and prioritize their tasks by offering VA services that free business owners from the day to day tasks that keep them from doing what needs to be done, but not what the really need to be doing. Her VA services include Virtual Receptionists (http://www.DontLoseBusiness.co.uk) that give cost effective faces to SME businesses. In her book "The Virtual Assistants Handbook" (http://www.thedreampa.co.uk/VAHbook) she shares the tricks-of-the-trade that made her one of the best VA's in England. Nadine is an all-round lovely person, fun, lively and full of great tips and advice so don’t miss out on this wonderful show. Sometimes life gets in the way of the best laid plans so I’ve had to change the plans for today’s radio show. My usual back-up suspects are not available today so I’ve had to put my thinking cap. As always, needs must and I have now come up with what I think will make a great show!Regular listeners will have heard me mention Wealth Dynamics and I’ve had some Wealth Dynamics practitioners on the show in the past as guests. In today’s show, myself and Steve Ireland will discuss some of our key learnings from a 3-day course we recently attended, the Wealth Dynamics Experience.Do you wonder how the wealthiest people in the world got there when they have followed such opposing paths to success? - Bill Gates leverages his products with other people's systems - Jeff Bezos leverages his system with other people's products - Jack Welch chose to run companies he did not start - Richard Branson chose to start companies he does not run - Warren Buffett invests in companies he neither started nor runs Wealth Dynamics is an entrepreneurial profiling system that helps people to understand their strengths and value. This means they can then learn the appropriate business strategies for them to follow in order to leverage their particular value.Calling In Please note that up to 4 callers and/or guests can be on air at any one time, so please do call in using the number listed above (USA landline). This weeks topic: “Maximise Your Resources” with special guest Jonathon Yates. Sometimes the lack mentality in our environment helps us to forget what is actually right under our nose; a wealth of resources. A key element of achieving peak performance is recognizing and maximizing our resources. Author Jonathan Yates started his first business with very little seed capital during a period of zero income from his spare room after inventing a product which helps people drink more water whilst being kind to the environment. The poduct, Wahoo, is available in MoD ration packs all across the world and was launched in Asda and Waitrose during March 2009 and Morrisons for May 2009. Jon has recently written “100 All-Time Essentials for Entrepreneurs” and his forthcoming book, “Fresources: How to start a business with no money” is due October ’09. This week’s topic: “Money, Empowerment & Thinking Big” with special guest Ekaterina Mitiaev, UK Director of The Hunger Project. When reading Lynne Twist’s “The Soul of Money” (a book I highly recommend by the way!) I came across The Hunger Project, which Lynne was a big part of for about 20 years. I was very impressed by the way this organization seeks to help by empowering people with resources, instead of doing things for them. In fact, they may be going to apply some methodologies in the UK that have worked in Africa – how’s that for a change of perspective? This is going to be one heck of a show and I suggest you put this in your diary to listen in live, call in and chat! (Or email me on Una@UnaDoyle.com). Ekaterina Mitiaev became UK Country Director of The Hunger Project in 2005. Previously, she had extensive project management experience from coordinating large telecom projects in the United Kingdom, Russia and Israel. She holds an MBA from London Business School and is particularly interested in the subject of knowledge management and how it can be applied to international development. "Una and Friends" Internet Radio Show ********************************************* 7 April 09 topic: “From No Work to Network” with special guest, Niri Patel of BNI. Only a few years ago, relocating meant that Niri had to start from scratch with his coaching and training business. Now, Niri is Executive Director of three BNI regions in the UK and Co-National Director, BNI India. (BNI is an international business referral organisation.) How did he get from there to here? Highly regarded by myself and anyone I’ve ever met that knows him, Niri is going to share with us some of his story, challenges and lessons learned along the way in business and life. One of Niri’s goals is to create 1,000 BNI millionaires. He is a contributor to a couple of books, has spoken at the House of Lords, is an expert in coaching, wellness and is a qualified “Egoscue Method” Posture Specialist. I believe the combination of Niri’s extensive knowledge and cheeky, yet wry sense of humour means we’re in for an abundant treat! FYI: The BNI Annual Conference is open to non-members and keynote speakers. Allan Pease, an expert in body language and author of eight books including: '’Why Men Don't Listen & Women Can't Read Maps", is one of the highlighted speakers. I've listened to an audio by Allan Pease and it was very funny and right on the button. Andy Bounds, a previous guest on the show, is also speaking.
