TheChurch@Work

Based upon the belief that every Christian has a ministry (often referred to as a "JOB") - this Workplace Ministry (The Church @ Work - TCAW) is intended to Equip and Encourage Christians to be more effective there. In addition, since so many hurting people are STILL hurting in the place we spend up to 70% of our lives, TCAW will also comfort and strengthen listeners who are hurting. Workplace Chaplain and Founder of TCAW is Michael Tummillo, often referred to as a "pioneer" in online ministry, having started his in 1999. Every Christian has a ministry. Our "jobs" are as sacred as anything that takes place in a church building. Listen in and learn more to INCREASE YOUR EFFECTIVENESS!

Show Notes

If you have a job, you have a ministry. The Church is NOT a building or a denomination. No, it's the PEOPLE. Christ is IN YOU. IN HIM we live and move and have our being. Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU." Every day brings opportunities for Divine appointments where the secular arena can be invaded by the sacred. And lives can be forever changed. Sadly, for MOST Christians, our Kingdom service has been limited to church services. The same Hebrew root word is used for "WORK" as for "WORSHIP." That word is "avodah." Unlike the Greeks and Romans who kept every aspect of their lives compartmentalized, definitely keeping their work life segregated from their worship. To the Hebrews, God was to be worshipped through ALL things. "Whether you eat or drink OR WHATEVER YOU DO, do it all to the glory of God." (1 Cor 10:31). Sadly, many Christians - Employees and Employers alike - are intimidated by the Separation of Church and State deception. Under Title VII, ALL spiritual people CAN express their faith. This law actually empowers AND protects us. Are YOU being equipped for that ministry you have AT WORK? We pray that this program will prove to be a blessing to you. Remember, let's not push religion. Let's push PEOPLE...Body, Soul and Spirit." Please refer to http://web.mac.com/miketummillo/Site_93 to learn more. Subscribe NOW to our FREE Weekly Ezine: http://web.mac.com/miketummillo/Site_95
