The Open Stage features the best of the Washington D.C./Baltimore area singer/songwriters, including members of the Songwriter's Association of Washington. Each show will feature an interview and music from a different songwriter, and we'll talk about song inspiration, the songwriting process, and of course, tracks from artists' CDs and upcoming shows to attend.

    Michelle's upcoming show, which will air on will feature singer/songwriter & SAW President Jean Bayou, and singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Dews. Jean and Tom will visit for a 1-hour interview along with music and discussion of the Songwriter's Association of Washington, songwriting, their recordings, and their upcoming show at Bangkok Blues on October 28th, sponsored by the Songwriters' Association of Washington (www.saw.org), which will also feature many other talented acts for a special night of piano music. The headliner act for that evening will be Grammy and Wammie Winner Jon Carroll.
