The Light Show  

Today's show marked a definite flow into new dimensions in time.  Between my new computer and my diminishing sense of time urgency, I didn't join the show till the half way mark.  And since I was the host, neither did Bonnie or Teresa...

But despite the waiting and despite the "irresponsibility"and despite being only half hour in length, our show was its own loving usual self, and our conversation moved us toward a better understanding of what's going on in our lives.  These are interesting times, and every window of reflection, every real listening space, brings insights and love into focus.

As we live into this time of political polarity and economic crisis, something new is arising that may be called authentic conversation, where getting to the heart of the matter before us is essential, where conversations are called forth as if our very lives depended on them. The urgency of the times is a clear message to put aside our need to be right, and listen deeply to each other, to put aside our inner habits of moving away from what is painful, and speak our most authentic truths. Please join us every Tuesday and Thursday, as we, Jeanie DeRousseau (Gather the Women Global Matrix), Bonnie Kelley (Evolutionary Women) and Teresa Ruelas (Offerings Publications) offer our own learnings and those of others into this evolution toward real conversation. Only when we rest in what is so, in meaningful conversation with one another, may real change occur in the world. Only then may we evoke in each other the true knowings that we were born to express into this world. Only then will we be able to co-create the collective wisdom we embody for the sake of us all.

It seemed as if we were just reflecting on our college experiences, remembering the Sixties on my part, sit-ins and demonstrations, Kent State students being killed, the feeling of possibility nonetheless, and great music.  Teresa spoke about the Seventies and Eighties, the outrage of her generation about Marcos, and the way her parents had campaigned against him.

But when we circled round to see what had happened in our conversation, we saw we had built a realization that each generation carries the torch of change as they ride through their youthful idealism, that together we are a great wave of change over this past century or more.  As the evolutionaries of these times are conveying to President Obama, we are engaged in nothing less than our own collective evolution. 

We know we can change the world, because we have been doing it, one generation at a time, one issue at a time, one person at a time, and the changes have been growing our freedom and our possibility as a human family.

Teresa and I share our youthful moments where we opened to the possibility of changing our world, and together we made change happen. This seems very important as embodied experiences to guide us in these moments. It seemed that all Internet connectivity was being challenged, as neither Bonnie nor I could access BlogTalkRadio today. But finally, there we were, delighted to be in our old space, moving our thoughts around, till the truth of our Being together found its alignment.

And what an alignment today... Bonnie asked me to say more about "possibility", and I felt the compassion for my own mind that leads me to translate huge potentials into manageable bites... I called it manifesting through the mind. Then, when Bonnie reflected that perhaps it was also possible to manifest through the heart, I asked her for more. She spoke and wrote, "the mind AS heart" and we were off...

An energetic was released between us that I experienced as an expansion of my experience of love... not only radiating through my body and the area of my chest as usual, but also filling my head and brain.  I remembered my conceptualization... and Bonnie spoke about Barbara Marx Hubbard's ideas... the evolution of form into beings (us) that can access the Mystery of their own nature... beautiful raw universal power manifesting centers of Beingness into awareness. But now I was experiencing my evolved brain-mind AS love, AS heart. No more localization of love experience in my heart; no more separation of heart and mind.

As we relaxed the boundaries between heart and mind (body/mind?), I was filled with the knowing that one by one we can take down the boundaries inside ourselves until we KNOW from the inside out that all is love, all is one, and we are That.

Bonnie and I rush to make our show deadline, find our grace as we check in, and go on to experience the mind as heart, as love, one with no boundaries.
