The Light Show  

Today's show was filled with humanity, Jeanie rushing to host the show on blogtalkradio in the midst of moving her household, Bonnie's connection coming and going as she rode the train into Santa Barbara, Teresa anchoring the moment.  We were joined by Connie Eberhart who is moving from a freelance life style, always in consideration of higher consciousness, into a waittress job in Surprise, Arizona. 

Life is becoming amazingly real, and our show reflected that on-the-ground quality of a lived experience of things going wrong, beauty, friendship, learning, and change.  We are showing up for the hard work that Obama spoke of on his Inauguration Day, and it looks like ordinary life, lived moment by moment.

The rules are softening; there is what is appropriate now as we take our steps one by one to live our life as whole people participating in the new humanity.  The difference is in how we receive our exeriences, how we interpret them, how we show up to radiate grace, ease and joy wherever we are, whatever life gives us.

Today we are joined by Connie Eberhart as we live into our experiences of moving, starting new jobs, and taking the show on the road. Our "reality show" is a bit choppy, but filled with "dear hearts and gentle people". As we live into this time of political polarity and economic crisis, something new is arising that may be called authentic conversation, where getting to the heart of the matter before us is essential, where conversations are called forth as if our very lives depended on them. The urgency of the times is a clear message to put aside our need to be right, and listen deeply to each other, to put aside our inner habits of moving away from what is painful, and speak our most authentic truths. What is each of us stepping into, and saying yes to that is our personal contribution to the new era? In this first series of conversations in 2009, Bonnie, Teresa, and I are playing with real time.  We come fresh to each of our shows, with current arisings within us and our observations of both inner and outer happenings. We recognize synchronicities, and build greater perspectives out of our individual points of view.  Each episode seems to circle around itself until we take something precious "to heart".

Today we continued our exploration of the inner realms, noticing the mystery of where an idea or a feeling comes from, different ways we have interpreted our life force rising, and ways we recognize and deal with our loss when we fall short of our full presence.  What exactly happens when we recognize a passion within us, and how can we go forward to actualize whatever is calling us forward...

When money came up today, we noticed how so many of the women in our networks have followed their passions, but are facing today the edge of their financial resources.  It's as though in the systems change that is occurring, changes in consciousness have proceeded changes in economics, although it is also possible that changes in all the systems have been occurring simultaneously, but are not yet coalesced into a new system.

How are we to manifest what is needed today?  Can we put our awarenesses of our own inner processes to work? 

As we stayed with our conversation, Bonnie could see how "putting one's heart in the hands of another" as a metaphor for trust was being evoked in the area of money.  Yet when we consider putting our "money" in the hands of another, there seems to be so much evolution needed for real trust as to be operationally impossible. 

Yet, some possibility became visible... the possibility that our collective consciousness, the field we have co-created with others dedicated to their own evolution... might just accelerate the change that is needed.  Teresa named this moment of our collective realization, Holy Ground.

In our busy lives full of wonderful unfolding, how do we decide what to pay attention to?  Where is our focus best directed?  What are our re-sources and how can we use them most effectively?

We spoke today of a theme common to us all... the rising collective.  Groups of women and communities are coming forward with deep intentions to make a difference, to understand in better ways what is needed for human growth and social evolution.  Each of us is experiencing this phenomenon, and its corollary, the question of what to pay attention to in making our decisions about participation.

It seems clear in the groups we're working with... Offerings, The DNA of Relationship, Evolutionary Women, Gather the Women... that some new "upleveling" is going on, as we connect and co-create together.  All of us are being activated in new ways; every old habit is being challenged, and invited to relax itself to accommodate the larger evolution.  And the new discriminations are being required.  Where is my optimum focus?

Shifting our focus from self-consciousness (how do I look?) to the collective (what's unfolding?) seems a promising shift in focus.  Asking ourselves what do I really love, inviting reflections of that love from my relationships, and focusing on That, is another.

Jeanie loves learning, awakening to connections and newness in collective.  Bonnie loves intimacy, the personal details that open to the Isness in another.  What do you love?
