I agree with you that alot of the lessor known talent dosnt get enuff attention and are very good. I attend the capital jazz fest in DC/Maryland every year faithfully. I found out about the young guy BK jackson because he played and won the smooth jazz contest that allowed a unknown artist to open up for the fest on sunday there are alot of artist that are off the hook and nobody knows about them. drop me a line any time or maybe i can be a guest on one of your shows to talk about unknown artist that people shold know about

In an unprecedented display of passion in support of a prime time television series, "Jericho" fans sent CBS over 20 tons of peanuts to get the show back on the air. It work! Smooth jazz music fans, we are just as passionate about the music. So, I have come up with a campaign to bring smooth jazz music back to the stations that have gone off the air. Listed below are the corporation's that own and/or operate the radio stations along with addresses, phone numbers and/or email addresses. The idea is to let these corporations know that there is an listening audience for smooth jazz music and we want our voices heard! So, here's how the campaign works and you can do all three or pick one:
1. Go to Walmart, Target or K-Mart and buy the bulk blank CD’s and send them to the corporations with a letter requesting they bring back the smooth jazz station and why? Also, let them know how you feel about the format that replaced smooth jazz; or2. Call and express yourself; or 3. Send a fax and/or email
