My greatest memories of Yankee Stadium

Now that the last out was recorded and the final bows of of Players past and present it is quite fitting the Yankee Stadium the house that Babe Ruth built and the house that George Steinbrenner rebuilt is now closed for business and it will never be the same when it will be first opened on April 18th 1923 and for the greatest players in the game such as Babe Ruth, Lou Gerrig, Phil "Holy Cow" Rizzuto, Joe Dimaggio, Yogi Berra,
Don "Perfect World Series Game" Larson, Roger Marris, Mickey Mantle, Graig Nettles, Reggie "Mr October" Jackson, and Derek Jeter its been and number of historic memories from Roger Marris record breaking home run on October 1 1961 to Mickey Mantles 500th home run to Don Larson first and only world series perfect game in 1956
to Reggie Jackson three home run ion the 1977 world series, to Dereck Jeter game saving home run in the 1996 ALCS which went on to win world series to a lot David Wells first ever regular seson perfect game on ty bennie baby day in 1998 to David Cone  perfect game on the 43rd anniversay of Don Larson perfect game and not to mention Arron Boone series clinching home run in the 2003 ALCS so of all that a total of 37 American League Championships and above all 26 World Championships more than any sports franchise in history. So my memories after 35 games at Yankee Stadium and the majority of times in the bleacher creatures section it will be not th same for this stadium and as a guy born and raise in the Bronx and living in the highbridge projects and seeing the stadium lights over it frm every game it wont be the same without this great ballpark i want to know if you have a great memories of the great stadium please send you comments to blogtalkradio.com/sportsfan or blogtalkradio.com/hollayo
