Openly bi-sexual British singer and songwriter Billie Myers joins us on SistersTalk Radio.
We all remember that little catchy tune "Kiss the Rain" that inundated the airwaves around the world back in the late 1990s. Well Billie Myers, the prodigiously talented artist, whose freshman effort "Growing Pains" sold more than a million copies worldwide, is finally making her thunderous come back to the music. After a seven-year hiatus, Myers is back! She cements her musical genius with a new album "Tea and Sympathy."She also breaks her silence on depression - a silence that nearly cost her her life.

Lesbian Podcast: God-des & She - Out Hip Hop on SistersTalk Radio

Listen to the queer hip-hop duo God-des & She

God-des & She is comprised of two incredibly talented mid-western Hip-Hop & Soul singers that began their journey through the music scene with just a rhyme and a dream. These small town girls with big town ambitions quit their jobs and moved to New York in 2004 from Madison, Wisconsin. Over the last four years, it’s been their intense drive and incredible focus that has gained them their notoriety and helped them to burst onto the music scene and take the industry by storm!

They got their first big break when they made their television debut on the Season 3 finale of Showtime’s hit series “The L Word” and they haven’t looked back since! That performance of their infamous hit song “Lick It” served as a launch pad for all of the amazing things that would follow. From a critically acclaimed drama series to music videos, God-des & She’s “Love You Better” broke records on MTV’s Logo network holding the #1 most requested spot on the charts for 15 weeks straight!

Lesbian Podcast: Interview with Lesbian Comedienne Vickie Shaw

NOTE: There's a horrible 90 second delay at the beginning of this interview. If you wait a bit, it'll start. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Vickie has performed in almost every state in the US and has headlined in various venues including: Michigan Womyn's Festival, National Women's Music Festival, Monterrey Beach Women's Festival; and the Dinah & Lina Shore Golf Tournament in Southern California.

Today, Vickie Shaw is a seasoned comedian hilariously addressing the triumphs and trials of being a woman, a mother and gay in America. Vickie's own life provides the best material for her show:as an out, lesbian mother, she has successfully raised two sons, (one of whom is married with a brand new baby daughter, Vickie's first grand child), has a teenage daughter still living at home, is married to her 'husbian', Sgt. Patch, and on top of all that she is a recovering S.O.B. (Southern Baptist).

Visit Vickie's web site then bookmark this interview and come back to listen live!
