Monique MacDonald began her career as a registered nurse and has nearly 30 years experience ranging from the most traumatic critical care to the care of those dying in hospice. Alongside her nursing profession, Monique always had her own interests in business. Throughout the 1990s Monique developed a strong following in the area of nutritional health, leading workshops throughout North America. In the later 90s her interests began to shift from nutritional wellness to personal development and today Monique expresses her passion in an area she calls personal and spiritual wellness. In 2003 Monique launched Discover Your Sacred Gifts, a program that won her the 2008 Woman of Worth Award in the category of Body, Mind and Spirit. She is also the author of the book Sacred Living vs. Living Scared, a compilation of short, inspirational teachings from her popular Sacred Living vs. Living Scared e-mail series. In addition to writing, Monique leads workshops and teleseminars, and has a personal mentoring practice.
