    Our guest this week is Professor Stephen Zunes, chair of Middle Eastern Studies at the University of San Francisco and a senior policy analyst for Foreign Policy in Focus. Professor Zunes was an especially prescient doubter of the Bush administration's claims of WMD in Iraq, doubting those claims as early as 2003, when nearly everyone else on the right and left believed such claims. He is the principal editor of Nonviolent Social Movements (Blackwell Publishers, 1999) and the author of Tinderbox: U.S. Middle East Policy and the Roots of Terrorism (Common Courage Press, 2003) and the forthcoming Western Sahara: Nationalism and Conflict in Northwest Africa (Syracuse University Press.) With Rachel M. MacNair, he edited Consistently Opposing Killing: From Abortion to Assisted Suicide, the Death Penalty, and War (Praeger, 2008). Most recently, he authored the Alternet article "Is Obama Screwing His Base with Rahm Emanuel Selection?"     Dr. Judith Broder, MD, Founder & Director of The Soldiers Project will be our guest this weekend. The Soldiers Project operates under the auspices of The Trauma Center of the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. The Soldiers Project provides free, confidential, unlimited psychological counseling to members of our military who have served in the conflicts in Iraq or Afghanistan. Dr. Broder completed her medical training at University of Chicago School of medicine and is a practicing psychiatrist and training & supervising analyst at the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, where she served as Chair of the Faculty Committee. Dr. Broder has taught and supervised extensively: She supervised psychiatric residents at UCLA, served as Chairperson of the Education Committee and Dean of the Psychoanalytic Center of California.     Andrew Evans will be our guest on Nov 1. Mr. Evans is the Chairman of the American Centrist Party, a third-party in the United States that is established in 40 states. He joined the American Centrist Party in 2005 and became the North Carolina Chairman and National Vice Chairman. In 2007, Mr. Evans became National Chairman after the ACP’s founder Matthew Unger joined the U.S. Army. He lives in Greenville, North Carolina where he attends East Carolina University, focusing on political science and pre law. Mr. Evans works as a freelance writer and computer lab assistant. He has written for the “American Chronicle” and is the author of “Spaghetti Graffiti”, a collection of short stories to be published next year in the U.S and Canada. He is also collaborating with two other writers on a book chronicling the thoughts of Americans in the beginning of the 21st century, “An American Diary”.
