    Edwin C. Yohnka will be our guest on Oct 25. Mr. Yohnka is Director of Communications and Public Policy for the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois. He will join us to discuss the ACLU challenge to the 2008 FISA law which granted retroactive immunity to telecom companies for warrantless wiretapping. Mr. Yohnka is the primary spokesperson for the most prominent civil rights and civil liberties’ advocacy organization in the State of Illinois, an organization with more than 23,000 members. Mr. Yohnka appears regularly on television and radio programs in Illinois and throughout the nation to speak out on a myriad of issues, ranging from racial profiling and the inequities of the criminal justice system to matters relating to religious liberty and Internet privacy.     Gordon Clark, Green Party candidate for Maryland’s 8th Congressional District, will be our guest on Oct 18. Mr. Clark is a citizen-politician—a lifelong activist, advocate and community organizer for peace, social justice and the environment who is now running to make a difference in government. He has many accomplishments including: Founding in 1984 the Doylestown (PA) Peace Force, a community organization combating the nuclear war fighting policies of the Reagan Administration, Founding in 2002 the Iraq Pledge of Resistance (now the National Campaign for Nonviolent Resistance), a national non-profit network devoted to using the nonviolent methods of Gandhi and King to oppose the war in Iraq.
