Post Trek Discussion (Featuring Writer Kristine M. Smith)

Last week the SciFi Pulse Podcast boldly went and kicked off the celebration of Star Trek. This weeks show will look at the new movie, as Will Stape and Myself joined by you guys share our views.

Then Joining us for the second half of the show will be writer Kristine M. Smith, who was a close friend to DeForest Kelley who of course is best known for playing the original Doctor McCoy on the Classic Star Trek series.

Back in 2001 Kris published a memoir titled DeForest Kelley: A Harvest Of Memories, and she was also a contributer to the official DeForest Kelley biography: From Sawdust To Stardust.

Kris will be talking about memories of De, giving her views on Karl Urban as McCoy, and will also talk about her new E-Book titled The Enduring Legacy Of DeForest Kelley, which is based on her interviews with people whose lives were touched by DeForest Kelley.

So why not pull up a chair, sip some southern comfort and join in as we discuss both the Star Trek movie, and DeForest Kelley, who to many was the important human element to the original Star Trek series and subsequent movies.
