Do you believe in synchronicity?  Or, do you believe it is all just a big coincidence?

I, for one, do not believe in coincidence, I do believe in synchronicity (may I just add here that the words coincidence and synchronicity are tough to type...).  Anyway, as I was saying, I believe in synchronicity.

To me, synchronicity is the same thing as what others may call coincidence, but it is coincidence with an underlying purpose, divine orchestration.  My landing here on blogtalkradio is just one of the many synchronistic events that have happened in the past month.  It truly is amazing to me how wonderful life can be, how connected we really are, if we just take the time to notice it, to feel it, to BE it.

My friend Marie and I have been participating in what we lovingly call "The Grand Experiment".  Basically we committed to performing our own spiritual rituals/practice every day for 30 days without fail, just to see what would happen--you know, just for the fun of it. 

My daily routine consisted of reading aloud a prayer/poem written by P'taah called "Song to the Universe"--a prayer of gratitude each morning.  Next I would perform the Magnified Healing daily practice (clearing of karma from the previous 24 hours, magnifying the healing energy within my heart and body, releasing misqualified energy, healing the earth, and healing of others).  The third and final part of my ritual was to do what is called the "alternating sweep".  The alternating sweep is a technique taught in the EMF Balancing Technique's UCL workshop and it is meant as a manifestation tool.  The idea is to move energy while placing some very specific intents within the fibers of energy in front of your body (potential future).  My 4 main intents were:

1.  Blessings to the entire Universe as I know and understand it.
2.  Blessings of prosperity and abundance to all of humanity
3.  I am aligned with all that I AM and I choose the easy path to everything
4.  I am fully financially supported through my book sales and cd sales (I have now added my HUB organization to this list)

Along the way, I have been wrestling with the idea of whether or not to continue hosting an internet radio show on a station where I must pay for the privilege of providing a valuable service, which I have been doing since May 2007.  All that time I continued to faithfully show up each week, honoring the energy and the callers, sharing wisdom and insights as they came.  I did so trusting that I would be 'taken care of' at some point by attracting new clients, paid sponsors, networking, etc. 

Well, my contract is almost up (the end of March) and I found myself at a crossroads.  Do I continue to go out of pocket to provide a service?  The answer was NO.  Okay, so then the question is, what do I do next?  My initial thought was, "generate sponsors".  I did find one sponsor, but that was still not enough to pay for my airtime fees.  My next thought was "ask for donations from the listeners", afterall, they are the benefactors of the service I provide.  Some listeners have been very generous with their donations and I have been very grateful for that.  But the question I still have is this, "is that enough?"

Now, the old me would have been fretting and trying to 'figure it all out'.  The new me (a product of the Grand Experiment) is more centered in the Now moment.  The new me is content to focus my thoughts, beliefs, and energy into the understanding that "I am aligned with all that I AM and I choose the easy path to everything".  From that place of being I became very clear that I will no longer go out of pocket to provide a valuable service.  That much I know.  However, I continue to remain detached from how that will show up in my life!  Will it show up as sponsorship and or donations to keep me at my current station?  Or, maybe, it will show up as a shift to another station.  This station.

Gee, I really feel like I am rambling on here, there really is a point, I swear...if you just stay with me a bit longer...

A few weeks ago a friend of mine sent me an email about blogtalkradio as an option for free hosting.  I really did not give it too much attention, in fact, I almost deleted it.  Thankfully I did not delete it, I just buried it under a pile of emails in my inbox.  That is until yesterday. 

I am now on about day 40 of my Grand Experiment, and as I mentioned before, I am feeling pretty centered and grounded these days.  Life is great.  In this new place of being, I was compelled to search out the email again with the information about the free hosting.  I surfed out to the site, found a familiar name from my current station, and sent her an email with some questions.

She responded very quickly and told me that she had been looking through the pics on my current station earlier that day and my picture had jumped out at her  (here is one of those synchronicities I promised you).  She even invited me to be a guest on her show, which I will be doing on April 9. 

As I read through her email responses to my questions, the energy felt so light and lovely.  I knew it was far more than coincidence that we had connected when we did, it was divine timing at its best. 

So, in this moment, I am leaning towards jumping to a new station and broadcasting my show from this very place.  I am still remaining detached from any particular form (outcome) and willing to allow Divine Guidance to show me "the easy path to everything" that is aligned with the all that I AM.

Stay tuned, I will update frequently with new unfolding synchronicities which are most definitely increasing the longer I participate in the Grand Experiment.  I would also like to take this opportunity to invite each of you to create your own Grand Experiment.  Make a commitment to your own spiritual practice of daily prayer, meditation, and intention.
