My next topic is about slurs being used within the demographic they're normally targeting. Why do we do it? Is it detrimental? Or is it positive? For example -Gay people that refer to their friends as "f-g hags" or refer to themselves as "queer," "f-g," or "homo." -Black people that use the "n" word, Mexicans that call themselves/each other the "b" word, or Chinese people that call each other the "c" word. -Women that refer to their closest friends as they're "bitches" or affectionately call each other "whores/hoes." -I would also like to talk about the irony of the fact that a wimpy male is called a bitch, yet the same is true for an aggressive (read: non-wimpy) female!
