Red Shaydez At The Hour  

Red Shaydez The Entertainer also known as Red Shaydez is an aspiring entertainer who began performing at the tender age of seven. She was born on September 26,1990 in Boston, Massachusetts. She was inspired by her father who was formerly in a group called Killin' Field. The group had moderate success in the late nineties. She would often take trips to the studio with her father and soon developed an interest in music. She was in her first music video at the age of six. As the years progressed, she also gained interests in the media. She enjoys film production,directing music videos, and acting. She directed and produced her first music video in March 2009 for her song “You Know My Style”, a remake to Nas's song by the same title. She has proclaimed that she is an entertainer because she has many talents. She is a lyricist, songwriter, and director all intertwined in one. Hence, The Entertainer. She does not like to be limited to one profession. Red Shaydez loves to write. She even writes songs for Pop/R&B artists. Music has been her passion for many years. Most recently, due to the lack of good music on regular rotation, she decided to start her own radio show. She hosts “Red Shaydez At The Hour” every Sunday from 5pm to 7pm EST. On her show, she discusses everything from social issues to entertainment while taking you back down memory lane with nostalgic records that were before her time. She tends play Old school R&B and Hip Hop, independent music, and occasionally current songs. She also debuts some of her tracks on the radio show as well. People from all over the world tune in. When she's not making music or directing films, she enjoys playing sports and watching movies. She loves having fun. She will be attending college in Massachusetts where she will study Film /Video Production. To achieve these goals, it requires drive and determination and that is what she intends to have.
