I have some news for you. Please take a few minutes to read this and do respond as you see fit.
Reality Check Ministries has gone through a SERIOUS change within the last month or so. We have had this radio show here for some time as you know and really have not done anything with it. Well that is about to change. Most of our focus was on our “Main Broadcast” Total Deliverance. Now please don’t think we will never broadcast on Total Deliverance again. I am sure we will from time to time.
We had a lot of really great shows and times there but to be honest my focus has changed a lot lately. It would seem God is doing a NEW THING in me though it is not new just more focused than ever before.
I have a HUGE compassion for everyone that has any sort of mental illness. Bi-Polar disorder, Depression, and so on. As you know if you have ever listened to my personal testimony I was afflicted with severe mental problems for the majority of my life until God literally healed me. Going through that all those years gives me insight most cannot see.
When God gives you a gift like this you just cannot hide it or pretend you went through HELL all those years for nothing. I would never take those years back because it has given me love for people many do not know how to love nor do they want to I am sad to say.
Within the last few days we have created not only a Website for Reality Check Ministries, although it is NOT finished yet it is up and running and full of info. We also have a NEW Blog just for Reality Check Ministries and for any one that desires “Support” of any kind. Mainly mental illness support, addiction support and such or for those that have loved ones with a mental illness.
Although everyone is welcome to join us of course. We are creating a SAFE ZONE for any one that feels they need a SAFE place to go and share their feelings, thoughts, and life with the group. Safety measures are in place and more will emerge as needed.
So, I would like for you to go and check out the website and blog site after you finish reading this and tell me how you like it and if you would change something here or there. I want to make it to help you best. I will give you the links at the end, don’t worry.
Now as far as this Radio Program goes. We will be changing its formatting to a “Life” category, though we WILL have a Based Christian theme. However, it will be for anyone seeking help and support. One of BTR’s own MAY be coming on board to help us on a regular basis and I truly hope she does. I won’t tell you who just yet but we are working on that right now.
So, we really would like for you to spread the word that we will be here on the air at least once a week for anyone that wants to join us for support. Let’s face it my friends there is a HUGE number of people in the world today that are suffering mentally and they are seeking support and help but few places are giving them Godly help.
Please understand we are NOT giving ANY kind of medical advice we are ONLY sharing the things we have been through and such and sharing love and compassion with the people that join us. There is a detailed statement on the website that explains exactly how this will work and where we stand legally. Please read it.

This is a quick update to all our friends and family in Christ. Please forgive me for not doing any shows for so long. NO! I didn't fall off the Earth and thankfully I didn't get lost down the drain as some supposed. :)
The truth is I have had some health issues and a few family issues that I must attend to. For years I have taken my family to church and I thought my wife understood the Word of God just as easily as I have always. What I forgot was the intensive discipleship and teaching I have gone through for 10+ years. Several times a week we would meet just for HOURS and I was a sponge to say the least. My wife on the other hand did not have that and to be honest the preachers go so far over her head she just does not understand.
Now men it is OUR duties I believe to make certain our families above all are taught everything we can teach them. To my shame I have FAILED terribly in this. I was/am so concerned with leading the Lost to Christ I did not realize my own family needed me even more. I MUST teach my family first and I have had a terrible time with this. The devil is fighting me at every corner but I know I will win this battle ONLY because "Greater is He that is in me then he that is in the world."
My wife has a hard time telling me certain things that she thinks might hurt me, go figure, but recently she emailed me, as she sat no more then 3 feet from me on her computer, BEGGING me to teach her the Word of God because she is afraid she doesn't know what she should. You see we spent most of our early years in a really good Assembly of God church BUT when we moved here we became apart of a VERY interesting Non-Denomination church that is heavy into the prosperity doctrine. For a time I tried my best to embrace the things they taught. Well I shall not get into that part for now but suffice to say we have ONLY one choice of churches here in this town. So we are back in the Assembly of God, though I do not agree with everything, our Pastor is a good man that truly loves the Lord. But he talks over her head horribly.
I will STILL go out on the streets and compel the lost to come in. I will still go to the state hospital and do everything I possibly can to share Christ with the teenagers and the adults. However, I MUST make my family second of it all. First, must be God Himself and second is my own household, third is my community, forth is the rest of the world via the Internet.
Please, keep us in your prayers for my health and my ignorance to my families needs. God bless each and every one of you that is truly teaching and preaching the Word of God as it was meant to be. We SHALL be back soon I pray.
