    A progressive metal band from Bogota, Colombia In 2008, the band participated in the most important festivals in the city of Bogota such as "Rock bajo la septima” and “Exporock 2008" and won the best band award. In January 2009, the band released its first EP named "No Regrets" and in August 2009 the band released “Over Calculated.     Special guest: Singer/songwriter Paul Liddell from Sunderland, England. At only 25 years old, Paul is already somewhat a veteran of the acoustic music world, having released two solo albums and an EP with his band ‘Delphians’. His second album ‘A Lighthouse Keeper’s Diary’ was released on his own label ‘Regulus Music’ and was distributed in stores around the UK by Universal/Absolute. Recently, Paul has been touring extensively all over the UK, his one man show and self effacing style combined with his powerful and unpretentious delivery earning him many new fans along the way. This live experience has paid great dividends, with Paul last year playing the same bill as Sting at the Piperine Free Festival in Milan. In February ’07 Paul undertook his first tour of America, which was a great success. He played 8 gigs around California and the West Coast, and even performed on a TV show filmed at Time Warner Studios in Hollywood. Since then, Paul’s song ‘Brighter Lights’ has been selected for a folk compilation CD to be distributed nationally and TV advertised throughout the US.     Welcome back special guests: Portland Oregon rockers WESTERN AERIAL. Rich will be catching up with the band and spinning some tracks live on the air from the brand new album release "Rock n' Roll Is Always In Fashion,"the forthcoming release from Rip City's own Western Aerial is a testament to just that, that rock 'n' roll is not out of fashion - it's alive and well as always. Some will ask who Western Aerial is. Others are already converts to their brand of rock, which has drawn comparisons to Buckcherry, Velvet Revolver, AC/DC, and Foo Fighters. And, some will ask, "Is Western Aerial the band from the Blazers' games?" The answer to the latter is YES.
