Enjoyed participating in PopArtDiva's new radio program test run today and believe it was a great range . . 40's through 60's. . of relating highlights of our memories. Whether fond or not (wartime), our memories are part of our make-up, decision-making and what we choose to pass on as values. Reminiscing isn't just for our elderly (80's or 90's) as pop culture was during those years many of us considered "happy days" as values stayed fairly stable and our decades from the 40's through the 60's were full of changes that "rocked the world" -- American music, American movies, American fashion, American "firsts" in the space race as well as overall technology. We were there when all this went on and it affected our lives forever. Terri did a terrific job hosting and I consider her a "natural" for talk radio. She'll be able to extract the "pulse" of her guests' opinions and emotions during the "pop culture" time frame.

I was born during the baby boom and much of my childhood became the pop culture of America. Now decades later I find myself fondly remembering those thrilling days of yesteryear. TRIPPIN' DOWN MEMORY LANE is a retro pop culture show centered on the decades after World War II. Let's get nostalgic and talk about what we wore, what we watched on TV, what our music was and how life has changed from yesterday to today. Here's a chance to Blast back to the Past or hear about those decades from the people who were there - the Baby Boomers. Grab your poodle skirt, don your love beads and put on those platform shoes, we're gettin' down, cruisin' for a bruisin' and tuning in and turning on! I'M GOING DOWN MEMORY LANE - COME RIDE SHOTGUN WITH ME - IT'S SURE TO BE AN "E" TICKET RIDE!
