In Network marketing it is so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind ofcraziness. Especially if you are just starting to learn. No matter if you are abeginner or an expert coming up with your own products to market, we still haveto be careful of the same thing… Distractions. You may think you have got that covered. But, let’s defines whatdistractions can consist of.We already know things like TV can be a huge distraction, even checking youremail every two minutes (which happen more often that you would think). But whatabout the things you are doing for your business that aren’t going anywhere?What I’m talking about is “ROI” meaning Return on Investment. It can be so easyto stay so busy doing “stuff” to grow you business, but never get anything done.You just hope around from one distraction to the other. Take a moment to thinkabout what things you are investing your time and money into and examine whatthe return is. If you are spending 24/7 learning SEO, but not selling a thing,you might want to re-evaluate what your goals are and how to accomplish them.I’m not saying learning SEO is a bad thing, it’s a great thing to know, but youmight need to put your focus on what’s going to make you money now and in thefuture.
Here is another example: If you are putting all your time in calling people andgetting them to come to a home meeting, what is the return on your investment?If you only get one to two people to sign up, was it worth it? Is there a betterway to invest your time, money and effort?
Most people I talk to in my team and in general all have the same thing incommon, they need to make moneyNOW. But, mosthave been taught to do it the wrong way. Being in MLM I see that a LOTand it’s sad, it can be very easy to waste so much time, money and effort andhave very little return. That’s why I don’t do home meetings or cold calls. Istick to the internet, where I have the whole world at my fingertip, but believeme, there are still plenty of distractions to get tangled up in the World WideWeb.
