Xavier Serbia speaks on financial independence

Xavier Serbia will be a guest on PRSUN Radio soon, promoting his new book
in advance of his appearance at a Bronx bookstore. The talk show is planned for 9-9:15 p.m. later this month. Show date TBA.

    Here's a press release:

PRNewswire -HISPANIC WIRE -- "La riqueza en cuatro pisos" is a survival
    manual. Having sufficient
wealth in the future, and achieving financial independence are two of the
primary goals for Hispanics; this book is the first step. In these hard times
when millions of people are not saving, are living paycheck to paycheck, do
not have control of their finances, are stressed due to debts or end up having
to forgo what they own, it is essential to start building a solid base and
    find financial peace.
In a direct and sincere tone, Xavier Serbia uses his financial expertise,
his financial obstacles after being a Menudo member in the 80's, and the
stories of those who have come to him for aid. Here, he walks us step by step
along the path to financial independence. He teaches us to first concentrate
on what is necessary (step 1); protect what we have, prepare for the
unexpected and obtain security (step 2); then cautiously plan investments,
enterprises and a retirement plan (step 3), in order to reach the yearned for
    independence (step 4).
Xavier Serbia is one of the most recognized financial experts in U.S.-
Hispanic media today. He has developed a solid expert image from which
thousands of Hispanics benefit through his weekly segment on Telemundo and
"Conexión Thalía's" national radio show. Xavier has also been a guest on "Al
rojo vivo," Univision's "Cristina," "Despierta América," "Don Francisco
Presenta" and "Sábado Gigante". Serbia takes advantage of every opportunity
via the Internet, print, radio or TV to share his mission: to bring personal
finances to a level that regular people can understand. Serbia has a Master's
Degree in Financial Economics (Trinity College), and an MBA with a
concentration in Finance (Keller Graduate School).

Recent short films  and web projects include: “Barrio Memories,” “Shekere Journey,” “COINTELPRO: I guess I’ll never know,”“Changing Latino NY” and “Immigrant Detention:  A Growing US Industry.” Ms. Morales' most current project is US-PuertoRicans.org, a multi-media site dedicated to the Puerto Rican Diaspora. It features articles, poetry, announcements, blogs about arts and politics, maps, short videos, history and a directory of web resources.
