The North Omaha Development Project is ready to announce the next steps for economic development in North Omaha. They have scheduled a community meeting at North High School at 6 pm to roll out their strategy.

There will be a special edition of On The Real with Carlos Carr Sr with special co host Mr. Walter Brooks. Our Guest will be a member of the North Omaha Development Project on October 2 at 7 pm.

So please plan on joining us to hear what is being planned to develop North O.

My concerns are as follows:

Will the development of North Omaha include the use of businesses already in North O to
help develop new areas of North O?

Will resources be available to Blacks to development businesses from the idea stage to open the doors stage? 

Will most of the development be based on businesses outside the Black community?

Will development include enticing existing Black own business not based in North O to relocation in North O?

Will development include trade skills development for Black youth and employment of the youth after they are trained with companies involved with the construction phrase of the development of North O?

Will franchises trying to relocate to North O be offered to Blacks?

Do the plans for development include a Black Chamber of Commerce or Black Business Alliance?

How many Black owned businesses outside of Omaha are being wooed to relocate or will be involved in the development/construction phrase in North O?

Will new quality and affordable housing be a part of the development of North O?

The greatest challenge of African People in America and around the world is White Supremacy (Oppression -WMDs, Culture Domination of the Air Waves- radio-TV- Internet, film, DVDs and CDs  etc and the ability to distribute their view of the world and life!)

White people spoke of democracy and land for whites only -- when they came to America.  The Caucasian male was in charge and on top, backed up by weapons of mass destruction and the force removal of Native American People from the best land.

They nearly brought the buffalo to extinction to starve the Native American People into submission and removed them to "concentration camps "ephemistically called, "reservations" for their protection against more overt White Aggression long before Hilter came on the scene!  Then chemical warfare is continually wage against them through the sell of alcoholic beverages which they themselves never used in their culture.  Everything that they loved was taken from them and now they have Christian religion and alcoholic beverarages.

?WHERE IS THE JUSTICE AND DEMOCRACY IN THAT?

They do not have the right to teach anyone about Love, True Christianity or Democracy!

We haven't even gotten to the force removal of Millions of Africans from their homeland.  Turning brother against brother for guns, power and material things!   And then took everything away from them that they loved.  Then the Caucasian's subjected them to bitter bondage like the Children of Israel in the Bible for centuries long before Hilter came on the scene!  Long before Jews were placed in concentration camps and worked to death, starved and murdered, but the Jews have a Holocaust Memorial in Washington D.C. and The African Maafa/Holocaust is trivialized and we are told; you should get over that -- that was a long time ago. That doesn't have anything to do with you or effect on you now. 

Read your History and think again!

?Who might that be? Bring your head out of the clouds my brothers and sister.  Satan is alive and well in Western Civilization!  By their fruit you will know them!

Is the name Satan a code word like the stories in Aesop's Fables or the Parables that Jesus spoke to cloak the Truth in a story, so the powerful wouldn't notice what is really being spoken of!

THE FINAL SOLUTION IS:  An Afrocentric Education based on a study/foundation of our African History and Culture! 

The Leadership you seek is right in front of your face. 

Your Leader(s) will tell you the Truth.  Your Leader(s) will live among you -- not the enemy.   Your Leader(s) will encourage you to get an Afrocentric Education.   Your Leader(s) will provide solutions / options not analyze the problem to death!  The solution is not difficult, but it does involve consistent effort on your part as a black person.  Your Leader(s) will restore your self-confidence, self-esteem and self-appreciation.  Your Leader(s) will be willing to invest their own meager income/money to transform your ghettos into a Garden of Eden.  Your Leader(s) will be in your face talking and listening to your wonderful ideas that all human beings have.  Your wel-care / welfare will constantly be on their minds!  Your success will be your Leader's success and your failures will be your Leader's failure!  Your Leader(s) will tell you to form your own government and democratically elect your own representatives!  Who will work for you 24/7/365!
And finally you will not have to look for your leader(s) they will seek you out as best they can and they will be positive-minded and solution-oriented with a can-do-attitude!  They may even have an African Name and wear African Clothes in the summertime!

What can you/I do?

(1). Save your/my change/coins to funded your/my own government  with it's own black-conceived plans and Initiatives and (2). give your democratically elected leader(s)your vote of one dollar a month so they can have the financial wherewithal to be beholden to you and not someone else!

Life is short and time is always against us.  You deserve the BEST AFRICAN PEOPLE in this Life -- as well as in the next!

(1). Carry a book around with you where ever you go!    (2). Lay it down where others can see the cover.  (3). Ask someone have they ever read this book.

Read to your children or listen to them read at least 20 minutes a day.

Set the example, let your children see you reading. 

 Read some of your books or magazines to them, show them the photographs.  Talk about them. Spell the words of some of the things they see, like w-a-t-e-r, s-k-y, r-o-c-k, t-r-e-e, b-o-a-t, etc.etc.

Reading and Learning are Fun!  Share what you've read with someone!
