Her daughter, Ebony, is being treated for a rare disorder that has symptoms sometimes mistaken as Multiple Sclerosis. As part of Ms. Majors' fight for her daughter, she is holding a fundraiser to be able to purchase a conversion van for transport.

For married couples or those in long relationships who are raising children with special needs it is even more infrequent, and event more vital.
