    There are nearly 400,000 people with Down Syndrome in America today and on this week's show we will talk about the challenges parents of children with Down Syndrome face, as well as the accomplishments self-advocates and adults with Down Syndrome have made in their own lives. The National Down Syndrome Congress has a network of over 200 organizations that assist in advocating for people with Down Syndrome and other disabilities and Mr. Tolleson will share how effective the organization has been over the past 37 years of its existence.
