As details are being ironed out on the U.S. Government's proposed $700 billion bailout, we spoke to lead anchor Susie Gharib from PBS' Nightly Business Report to discuss her take on the issue.
"The key question here is this: 'Is this bailout enough to repair the damage done?" asked Gharib. "Will it be enough for banks to say we're in a better position and can loan money again, whether it's to a business or an individual. Or are they going to play it safe and not make any move until they really see the light at the end of the tunnel. Will businesses be able to take out a loan to grow their business? Or will students be able to get a loan?"
Watch PBS' Nightly Business Report tonight for the latest developments and listen to our radio show tomorrow at 10 a.m. to hear our exclusive interview with Gharib.
